what will it sound like if i get a straight pipe on my 1992 ford ranger 4.0 v6?

i have a single glasspack now, and they were going to cut it out and put a pipe in to make it a straight pipe since the glasspack is the muffler...so i mean i jus want it to be as loud as possible but sound good?
i have a single glasspack now and its not really loud enough
