what will happen my cat ate thread?

The other dat my cat ate thread, thaty night she kept throwing up, yesterday the thread was coming out ouf her but and my mom gently pulled it out, now shes acting all odd shes been laying down and sleeping all yesterday and today, is she going to be alright?
 
Are you sure there was no pin attached to it? Something could have been attached to the thread and its upsetting your cats stomach.
The thread could be caught up somewhere, even though it got pulled out a bit might still be there.

I would really take your cat to the vet just to be safe
