What will happen if I put a 58" Samsung TV on a TV Stand designed for a 56" television?

I just noticed a purchased a tv stand designed for a 56" TV when I bought a 58" television. I checked the weight specifications and the stand should be able to support the weight of the tv I have with about 30 pounds to spare, but is it safe to put the tv on this stand or should I just get a different stand? What are the dangers or hazards of doing this?

You'll be fine as long as the weight is under the specified weight limit for the stand. If you have an extra 30 pounds that's great just don't forget about anything extra like dvd/blue ray players, amplifiers, or anythings else. They can add up quick.
