What will happen if i just take my protein shakes without going to the gym?

Ive was going gym for ages, but now due to money issues i stopped going about 6 months ago
Just wondering what will happen if i just carried on taking my protein shakes.
Its optimum nutrition 100% whey, chocolate :)
