I leave for boot camp in January and me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex, but it's too early to tell if I am pregnant. What will happen if I am pregnant while at boot camp???

when you get to basic training they will give you a pregnancy test. every girl gets one. it is just to make sure because alot of the girls have sex right before they leave. then anytime you get sick they also give you one.

if you are pregnant they will send you home with the option to return once the baby is a certain age OR allow you to end your contract with the military.

don't worry, this happens alot. when i went threw basic there was a group of girls who turned up pregnant.

You go back to MEPS before they ship you to your BCT and they make you pee in a cup to test for Pregnancy and drugs... you should know by then if you feel like you are pregnant tell the nurse their and they will help out...

You probably won't get a discharge, you will most likely be sent home until a few weeks after the baby is born and then put back in the trenches, so to speak.

Usually you will get a test before you leave. Same kind of urine test they took at the Medical place you had to go to in order to get into the service. And when you get there, the first 3 or so days of boot camp is medical tests. If they didn't catch something at MEPS (what its called here) they will likely catch it there.

If you happen to get pregnant you will get an administrative discharge I believe. this discharge allows you to re-join at a later time with no issue if you want to.

Assuming you're talking about the army, Chances are you will be discharged because you won't be fit to train. :-/ But I THINK you might be able to hold off going to basic until AFTER the baby is born. (I can't remember.. I think that's it though.)

If not, eventually later on you can always reinlist after the baby is born. What you need to do is tell your recruiter that you might be pregnant, and then you'll probably have to take a blood test, which you can probably do now to see if you're pregnant or not.

I suggest reading this:

Good luck :( Sorry

They will test you before you go. If you are, you will be discharged and will go back later.
