What will bill my vodafone acount do?

Im on my new HTC Wildfire S and was looking at the marketplace (Android?) I was going to purchase something and was greeted with two options:

Bill my Vodafone account
Add a credit card (Pretty self explanatory)

Im on "pay as you go" so would that subtract the amount from my credit or what?
