What will Bell activate

I think it's 5 themes for $23 or 6 for $26 now. Anything under 5 is $8 each. Any over 6 are an additional $5. I think you can purchase 11 theme packs for $43. There is also a discount on the premium movie packs if you purchase 7 themes or more.

You can transfer any equipment from another account to a new account, as long as the equipment is not rental.
The transfer fee is $35.00 if the CSR remembers to charge for it.

You must have authorization on the previous owner's account if that account is active. If the smart cards are out of date, there will be a $69 charge for cards from two generations past (S0450 - S0454) or no charge to replace cards from the last generation (S044, S0455 - S0458). You will have to wait for cards to be shipped (3-5 business days).

The CSR is simply letting the customer know that he can get a promotion when signing up for a contract. If the customer chooses not to go with a contract, the CSR should honour his wishes and set up a new promotionless account.

This is quite confusing... :(

Also, I thought all packages had free HD channels. What's an HD package vs a non-HD package?

Thanks for all this info!

One more question: can we still get the 6141 with the ATSC tuner? (too many "boxes" around the TV!). If so, where? Store, in person?

gmd,

for example:

Digital Standard (with SD US Network Timeshifting this is called Digital Basic) and all other Engish "value" packages comes with the 17 (22 after June 10th) free HD stations (basically your local OTAs, the near US network feed, and APTN HD). (TV5 HD should come with French Networks $2/month extra, but as of yet I am unsure). If you are an existing customer the you need to supply your own Nimiq 2 upgrade to get any satellite signal from sat 82 deg West.

HD Essentials and all package that are larger add 4 HD theme packs and HD US Network Timeshifting for $10/month more that the Digital Essentials version. If you are an existing customer adding any paid HD will qualify you for the Nimiq 2 upgrade program.

If you are a subscribing with Base Numerique in any French "Forfait" you do get the following benefits;
- not needing to subscribe to "New" (or old) Sports 1 to get TSN/TSN2 in the HD Sports Theme Pack
- not needing to subscribe to "New" Sports 2 (or old Sports 1) to get all four RSN HD feeds in More HD Sports.
- not needing to subscribe to "Reseaux Anglophones" containing the SD feeds of your near US Networks (if you are in Ontario or east this is from Boston) to get the HD versions of the US Networks.
- I'm not to sure how this will work with CFCN-DT, CKXT-DT and CICT-DT as these stations are available in "Partout au Canada".

There you go, it can't get much simpler than that, now can it.....

No wonder Bell dropped the "Keeping it Simple" tag in their adversitments.

Thanks cslusarc, it's simpl-ER than anything I've seen!

HD Essentials adds, but it's $10/month. You lost me. I thought anyone could add 4 HD themes for $10/month.
