Here are to points. If you could, please defend why they were justifications of dropping the atomic bomb One at a time please.

Revenge for pearl harbor and the barbaric treatment of POWs

A land invasion of japan to end the war would cost too many american lives

The Japanese seemed completely unwilling to surrender and would fight to the end at all costs

The United states wanted leverage (an advantage) over all other nations (especially the USSR) in post-war foreign relations.

there are no justifications. japanese deserved to die.they should hav nvr gone to war.their biggest mistake is to bomb pearl harbour.japanese forces are totally no match to the americans.in the past, americans can crush them easily just like in the present.they should nvr hav offended the americans.

We signed a treaty with the Soviets calling for "Unconditional Surrender".
Were it not for that obligation, the bombs would probably not have been used.
In the history of war unconditional surrender is a rarity. Usually a bargain is made and the dominant party gets the better end of the deal.

SecDef Robt McNamara later on in life in the documentary "Fog of War" admitted that Fire Bombing 89% of Japanese Cities, which were mostly built of wood, was a War Crime!
