What well know movies have you never watched?

I have seen that Saving Private Ryan will be on [or was on] film four this week and I have no intention of watching it. I don't know why it can't be that bad.

The same with American Pie. I know the names but have never wanted to watch. I might be missing out, but does anyone else read about a film and just get it in their head you will not enjoy it?
 
Top Gun is one I have never seen from start to finish. Ones which I haven't seen at all are Stand By Me and The Shawshank Redemption.

They're all shit imo with the exception of oceans 11, hurt locker I liked for the gritty action scenes, but it doesn't really have a story so at the end you're like...meh?

But reading other posts there are more movies I can not watch, The Godfather movies are one and I 'have' tried' but they are crap, watched more than once trying to find this great thing.

Everyone of Candyangels list I agree with, but I did watch the Exercist after reading the book and being under age when I went to watch the film. So with the book and a bit of gore in the film, along with lots of people saying it should be banned, made it a cheeky watch.
