I've slept, eaten, watched tv... lived with mine for almost 13 years. He still won't let me in his face eye to eye. I can kiss him, snuggle his neck and love on him, but he will only allow so much eye contact. When he wants anything--treats, loving, a lap--he will come and poke me with his paw (or chew on my bangs if I'm asleep), which is pretty funny. Poke, poke. "Hey you! I'm telling you I want something RIGHT NOW!" He won't jump into my lap unless I have his chenille blanket over my legs and raise my arm so he can jump up. If I pick him up and put him in my lap, he gets down and jumps up by himself.
