see, at first i wanted a ferret, and my parents and aunt are now being horrible and telling me the worst of it so ive gone off the idea, but i want a weird and wonderful pet, thats cute, not too hard to look after and i can spend lots of time with it any suggestions?

You could try a Royal Python/Ball Python (same animal, but two different names). That's what I really want at the minute, but my parents HATE reptiles.

They are very easy to look after, and they make great beginner snakes, but you should definitely do your research before going out and getting one. And you have to be willing to feed it mice/rats once a week.

Hope I helped :).

You may not of heard of these before but they are called degu`s and are very cute. Im not sure how to look after them but i saw some in a pets @ home store the other day. I dont think many people have one so you can amaze your friends

Hamster? they aren't weird tho. they are so cute and cuddly. And not hard to look after. There are things they need tho. And u can spend a lot of time with a hamster! good luck!

it depends really whats ur view on wierd 30 eyes 1 testicle it depends look for an exotic pet store theyll have some.

Ferrets actually make wonderful pets. They are friendly, litter Box trainable and can be kept in cages. I think they're the best of both worlds. They are so much fun to play with. If the smell is what's concerning your mom and aunt there's this stuff called Bi-Odor that can be added to water daily and it drastically wears down the smell. Also washing their blankets every two weeks or so is another way to keep the smell down. I definitely recommend ferrets.. best pet I've ever had.

But as for other pets their guinea pigs(pretty fun),chinchillas(also a good choice but pretty messy), porcupine's(not sure about them as I've never owned one)..
