Pregnant again! :)

Guest
I am 16 weeks pregnant and I have an appt with my midwife on the 29th. She will give me a scrip to get an u/s done to determine the sex, but I am trying to figure out how long I should wait.
With my daughter we found out at 16 weeks because I had to get an emergency u/s done and they were just able to tell. But this will be my last u/s for this pregnancy if all goes well.

What week in your pregnancy did you find out the sex of your baby?

Thanks! :)
I give props to those of you who don't find out, but it is a big surprise whether you find out at 18 weeks or 40 weeks if you ask me. At least you can be prepared for your baby if you know in advance. A couple of my friends aren't finding out the sex and it drives me crazy not knowing what their kids are! There is no way I could wait for mine! :)

I am 25 weeks I checked at 20, 21, a little over 22 (in emergency room) and I am going back to do my 3d/4d u/s at 26 weeks....I am suppose to be having a girl but all said they "think" and cant be sure..at all appointments the baby either had her legs closed or what not in the right position.

Good Luck hope you find out soon

i was 15 weeks and 2 days! and the tech said my baby boy had a very prominate package! woohoo! haha....i think she meant in the sense that it was only 15 weeks and she was fully capable of seeing his goodies. But good luck to you!!

I have to wait until 20 weeks and I am 16 weeks now- so I feel like its FOREVER!!! :)

At 18 weeks you'll find out the sex of the baby. but only if you want to.... I WAS A SUPRISE!

I didn't with either one. It is one of life's surprises and it means that Daddy gets the really exciting part of making the calls and saying, 'IT'S A GIRL/BOY!!'.

Unless you really think your boy should only wear blue and your girl should only wear pink and it would be a disaster to have a violet/green etc painted nursery - which strikes me as a bit mad really! lol.

I am surprised that so many answers wanted to and found out their baby's sex, yiekks.
