What watch do you wear? Part 2

I had this little nuraber turn up in the post this morning..........

Such a comfy watch, and a cracker for the summer with the yellow face

I can't get over how light it is, titanium is a perfect material for a big watch

Iv been oogling these all night!!! My birthday is just 3 weeks away - better make my mind up before i come across yet another brand i fall in love with :D

I agree it looks better, and I like the TAG branding along it.
It's just a very grippy rubber, so you can't straighten the watch using the 'wrist flick' you see all watch wearers doing.

thoughts on this chaps?

love the colour corabo...

C8 Pilot Mk II - Vintage Edition - Brown - C8-kVKT-MK2 - Automatic - Antimagnetic; Incabloc Anti-shock; Superluminova; Exhibition back - Swiss Made

would have preferred an ETA instead of Sellita SW200-1 - not that it probably matters

not as tall as the Steinhart's though...

C. WarRAB seem to have solid backing on the product - 5 year warranty, very good servicing process too and its in the UK.

I imagine that wears quite large on the wrist.

I have recently rekindled my interest in quality timepieces and, having not worn a watch for some years, am pleased that checking the time involves a small turn of the wrist and not a delve in to the pocket.

For this reason I would suggest that the wristwatch will remain.

I quite like the Navajo , who would have thought that a nation famed for their bows and arrows skills could turn their hand to making a Precision Timepiece .

I will always wear a watch.

Not only is it useful to obviously tell the time but with the right one it can make you as a whole look good/better.

Most people look good with some small accessories on them whether it be a watch or bracelet of some kind.

If you have a nice smart looking watch with a suit that does look good, just sort of completes it.

Of course it's personal opinion at the end of the day, but I don't like the look of that rubber strap at all. Each unto their own I suppose! Nice watch though.

I have 3 of these F1 watches.

They are great but it annoys me that if a month has less than 31 days, you need to manually wind it on. Especially if you wind it too far!!

I agree, and this sums up why some recent interest I had in Christopher ward watches fizzled out.
I was looking at a model they do that looked like an omega seamaster PO.
But I decided I wouldnt get pleasure from an 'homage' watch, no matter how good a watch it is in its own right.
But if a buyer is happy to buy a CW knowing the design 'leans heavily' on more expensive branRAB, fair enough.
Personally, I'd rather put the money towarRAB the watch they're alluding to, or spend it on a brand that doesn't allude to another brand.

Berties you really are precious. It was only a few weeks where you said automatics don't need servicing and your watch has been running fine.

The pilot line of watches falls very much in this category with Laco, Stowa, Steinhart, Hamilton having very near identical designs - but i got over that...not that it made my choice any easier but quite the opposite
