What watch do you wear? Part 2

Nice

Who makes the "insides" of those watches? do they take the parts from another manufacture and re-brand it or do they use their own stuff?

Another watchaholic here but I dont spend a lot otherwise I would be broke!

My latest and most expensive, to me anyway, is this Citizen Eco Wave. Simple and smart enough for any occasion.

The funny thing about watches, is something so simple can completely change your mind about a watch. The Sinn I've been questioning whether to keep has been totally transformed by an £8 Nato strap! Looks all the better for it and wears totally differently to the bracelet. No doubt the Sinn rubber will be different again.

Might be a keeper after all

Latest addition to the (small) collection.
I believe it's called an 'F1 Grande date-small second'
I'd been looking at F1s, but preferred the black/white looks of this compared with the multi-coloured versions.
I'm now looking for a TAG rubber strap to go with it.

Not a big fan of that Sinn. Its a nice watch but it's just a little too simple for me. I prefer a little bit going on in the dial which is why i generally go for Chrono's.

I also prefer larger faced watches (with the exception of Breitlings) as i have big wrists and arms so it would be too small for me as would a Daytona. I've just sold my Titanium Seamaster Chrono which i loved and am just considering now whether to go for an IWC Aquatimer or an Oris Williams TT3....

BREITLING A13356.BLK.ARABIC.SS.PILOT

Im currently wearing the above... (my camera on phone aint working so this was the best image I could find)

I love it but im thinking of changing it.... had it a couple of years now. Thinking of a Rolex.. but unsure at the moment.

I would like a U Boat for casual wear just now as well.

Any of you that are after exclusives, there is a limited 90 piece Mont Blanc 18ct White gold beautiful watch in the Mont Blanc store in Canary Wharf - a ship at £22k, but it is apparently the only one in the UK.

I would have bought it, but I always buy a pair to keep the wear and tear down

If only someone here was selling a lovely one on the trading forums....

Ahem....

PS, I will hate you forever if you buy it, because I would if I had the dosh.

Titanium version of a Casio Waveceptor analogue / digital watch.

It's lightweight, quite nice looking, scratch resistant, waterproof, solar powered and being radio controlled is always accurate to within 1 second.

It never neeRAB a battery, never neeRAB servicing, never neeRAB setting.... only thing it neeRAB is a few minutes of sunlight every 6 months or so.

Best £100 I ever spent on a watch.

However, I'm finding these days I leave my watch at home and use my iPhone as my timepiece... something that apparently is more and more common.

Are the days of people wearing a watch nurabered?

Does anyone here have any direct experience of Christopher Ward watches?
The more reviews I see on youtube and read online, the more I'm impressed.

a brand new Casio G5 my wife gave me for ChristmasLove it because of its rugged good looks and lack of pretentiousness.Mind you it does have features like stopwatch I'll never use ,but never mind. Its both analogue and digital which is better. The former during daylight ours and the latter at night

If anyone is interested I will have a BNIB unworn Omega Planet Ocean coming up for sale in the coming days

It is the black bezel, white nuraber, 42mm version (the most popular).
