A few years ago, I tried a new restaurant in the area. It was sort of busy, and the servers weren't coming to many of the tables. Some people didn't get their food for a really long time. Others just wanted a drink refill and never got it. So many people were complaining.

I ordered a hamburger and it was undone inside. I tried to send it back and the server said she would take it back if I wanted, but it would take a really long time to get it back to me. It was implied that I would be better off just eating half of my friend's dinner order. I don't think anyone who was there that night will ever go back.

You?

I went to an East Side Marios (I hate chain restaurants, don't know why I was there). The place was busy, so they sat us in a booth in the bar section. In some places, if you're situation in the bar, the bartender takes your order, relays it to the kitchen, other places, the wait staff are still in charge. Well...no one was in charge here.

Orders took forever to take, food came late, food didn't come at all, orders were mixed up. When I asked for the bill, it never came, and 20 minutes later I paid at the bar, seriously...wow. The only ONLY time I ever left a one cent tip.

On the otherside, I had a great experience at this resturant George a few months back. We came half an hour late, but they were so accommadating. Even though it was 9 30, they still let us get the tasting menu. We finally left at 12 30, we were the last patrons by well over an hour, but they made us feel very welcome. They even encouraged us to get another dessert. Everytime a dish would come out, someone from the kitchen would come and explain what the dish was. Utensils were cleared after each plate (9 total). It was snowing that night, and when we left, they cleared a path to my car (my date with heels appreciated that), and they cleaned my car!!! Amazing service!

went to cici's pizza and they didn't have the pizza i wanted and they didn't make it T.T.

I went to a resturant that was just new. They took 50 minutes to give us our meal. The garlic bread was soo rough and had melted cheese on it, who puts melted cheese on garlic bread? The "roast of the day" was just peas and little diced pumpkin and carrots. They chucked some wedges on it when they didn't have any roast potatoes. Then the chicken kiev wasn't even creamy in the middle and the chicken was pink. The salad was just lettuce on its own with like a teaspoon of died tomatoes.
We asked the woman what was with the roast and she said she'll ask the chef, she didn't come back.
Then believe it or not a person on a nearby table got a roast with all roast potatoes and carrots and pumkin, normal size.
Shocking.
