Almost positive it was on MTV (BET or VH1 is possible), it was 3 guys in this animated show and they would interview hip hop stars and talk about hip hop. The fat one was into more thoughtful progressive stuff, another one was into more streetsy blingy rap.... half hour long show, almost like a hip hop beavis and butthead. I'm remembering it late 90's, say 97-98, but it's possible it was a couple years after that. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
