What was the Hebrew Concept of “Covenant" with yahweh, and how did this help...

...make the society Different? Looking for Answers and Opinions on this particular Question, Building a Study Guide for a Upcoming Exam and looking for some general Feedback .. Id appreciate the help
The Covenant between Yahweh and the Hebrews says that they are God's chosen people, and to receive the benefits of being his people they must worship him and follow his Commandments. A symbol of the covenant is circumcision. .. What i have so far
Doesn't Fully Answer the Question about how it Help make the Society Different so kinda unsure right now
