What was the first film you ever saw on VHS?

God how spooky! We too got Betamax ( it was cheaper than VHS - and smaller ), and Tom And Jerry was the first video i saw - closely followed by various Bruce Lee films.....

CAn't remember which was the first, but the early ones we rented were Poltergeist, Sheriff & The Satellite Kid, Star Trek 1, Jaws, Karate Kid, Friday 13th, The Exorcist (before they banned it when they had the new classification in 1984).

Lol they were the days, one of the first films I ever saw on vhs was the turtles movie. I remember watching the jungle book at some point too. Going a long way back now god i feel old
