What was the best console from last generation now that we're all on the new gen?

God of War 2 is going to be awesome and if I don't have a PS3 by the time God of War 3 is out, I'll get one then (if the price has dropped some).

PS2. xbox was really just coming into it's own when they pulled the plug, but the PS2 has had some certifiable great games at the end too though. God of War, Guitar Hero and Okami.

Online wise, (which is all I play) Xbox tore the ps2 a new asshole. Graphically etc it was much better. Hardware wise, it was better also. It all depends on what kinds of games you like to play though. If you like ps exclusive games, your going to like the ps2 obviously more.
