the point was not the goddamned fruit, it was the fact that God said "NO" and they disobeyed him, its about the act... not the props
So you could say the fruit was anything you want, cause thats irrelevant to the point of the fable: God said no, eve said yes, and for disobeying daddy BOTH kids get punished, it doesnt matter who put their hand in the cookie jar, or whether it was cookies vs jellybeans - its not the point, they disobeyed their parents and got grounded for it - metaphorically speaking of course
