...the kid was President? If the markets should be left to correct themselves, why'd the governmet spend tax payer dollar to try handle the mess?

I can't believe in invested in a bank run by a foreigner with the name of Pundit. Do you know what Pundit means in French? It sounds like robber, which is happened when Citibank was and is under his control. I'm going to let positive stereotypes influence me from now one... with names like Goldman in their name they're known to make money.
 
The crisis was created by senate finance committee members forcing gov funded banks to approve millions of otherwise unapprovable loans, in 06,07,08. Geuss what happened before that? Dems were voted into majority of congress. The administration warned of over extended Fannie and freddy in early 07. These warnings were ignored. Later dem controlled congress persuade white house to begin bailouts in an election year. To summarize, The government screwed up what was a strong economy for political reasons. Do they honestly do anything for any other reason?
