well, I think we has this before, but oh well.

Mines was and still is.......some of you will hate me for this....Cartoon Network. Even though people criticizes the network for being to kiddish, I still think they're cool, though. My favorite period was from 1992-2006.

Toon Disney (1998-2004). Seriously, how many years has it took for Toon Disney to take off all aspects of old Disney toons? Not even 6 years, and I felt Disney turned on us in February 2004. The logo is just like the Disney Channel's, even though they occasionally play old shows on Fridays, it's not enough with Disney Channel's animated shows on the network EVERY day. They don't celebrate Donald Duck's birthday anymore, Jetix killing TD, along with Disney themselves. And they show more live action than Cartoon Network.

How many years has it took CN to get rid of virtually all classic shows? 13 years. Wait, Tom and Jerry is still there and Scooby Doo! Where Are You? is coming back with a marathon. And most classic HB and Looney Tunes are on Boomerang, so they're still seen even though they're not as availiable as TD or Nicktoons Network.

So, after I made this point, you guys will be smart enough to pick CN over TD

Cartoon Network has always been my favorite cartoon channel. It might not be as great as it used to be, but it still is a good channel (Adult Swim makes up for some of it's lousier programs).

I used to like Nickelodeon a lot more, but since 2004 (Hehe, irony), it's been going down hill for me...
Nick at Nite is good though. And Avatar is a pretty good show (can't keep up with it though) and Danny Phantom is alright.

It's too subjective to establish an arbitrary cut-off date for this type of stuff, but for the sake of Discussion I'll go with Nickelodeon, particarly circa 1999-2000.

T hey heavily promoted their new shows (the then-new Spongebob, Oh Yeah! and Rocket Power) while still giving their older shows a timeslot or two (It was still possible to see Rocko, AAAAAAHH! Real Monsters, First-Run Rugrats, Doug, and Ren and Stimpy from time to time), creating a harmonious balance between nostalgia and forward-thinking business realism (for want of a better term) that's all too sorely missing nowadays.

2004 was the last year CN had anything really good on. And even then, all they had that was great was AS and Toonami.

But, yeah, CN easily. The only worthwhile thing on Toon Disney is Jetix. When did they even get Jetix, actually? 2004 or 2005, right? I hardly even remember old Toon Disney.

cartoon network has and will kick ass, although they took off all the classics,we have boomerang, while toon disney doesn't care about it's past, nor does nickelodeon.

It was Cartoon Network. Mostly because I didn't and still don't get Toon Disney. Also on the whole I prefer the television animation that Time Warner has under its belt.

Personally I think they've both gone downhill as of late. But where I don't care what happens to Toon Disney at this point, I want Cartoon Network to improve, so I guess I have more hope for CN.

Nickelodeon until Angry Beavers was canceled then it went down hill for me. Toon Disney was my favorite until Jetix took over now I don't have a favorite toon channel. Now I watch mostly live-action except for The Simpsons and Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. :zoidberg:

I used to love Cartoon Network. That is until the Adult Swim block started.:( I started to like it even less when they started those awful CN originals. I'm referring to: Billy & Mandy, Camp Laslo, and My Gym Partner's a Monkey.:(

Now, they refuse to show any eps of Totally Spies and Team Galaxy.:crying: :crying: :crying:

The channel's gone into the toilet.:crying:

The exact date Jetix came into existence was Saturday, February 14, 2004, on ABC Family that morning and Toon Disney that evening. How am I so sure? Simple - that was the exact date that Power Rangers Dino Thunder premiered on both channels.

I voted for Toon Disney. I used to be able to have that station on all day and find interesting things to watch. Not anymore, not by a longshot.

Next would be Nick and Nicktoons, because I'm satisfied with Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents and Jimmy Neutron.

Finally right now I place Cartoon Network on top. I watch and enjoy Ed, Edd and Eddy, Fosters, Billy and Mandy and Camp Lazlo. Plus Courage is still on the network and there's aways adult swim. I'd watch the heck out of Boomerang if I still had it.
