Or, more specifically, what were ovens like in the early 1900's (about 1900-1910 is what I'm looking for)? I'm just writing a short story set in 1910 for my English class, and at one point two characters are in the kitchen. It's a wealthier family... so what were the ovens like in the 1900's for wealthy families?
