I have a Pioneer Pro-150 Kuro Elite plasma television. I have it all networked and in my home office I am attempting to stream video's to the television set. If you are familiar with this Plasma it has a home media component to it. In which it connects to the network automatically and detects pictures/music/ and video.
Pictures are working fine, music fine, but the video is being a problem. I am thinking it must be file type compatibility, but am unsure.
I have a HD digital camcorder and it records in M2TS format ( I believe).. I am using a convertor to change it to MPEG layer 1, 2, and 4 -- but none are being picked up by the plasma.
I converted to a dvix .AVI format, but it still wasn't picked up.
By being picked up I mean I would then walk to the television and see if the video file appeared in the list. They aren't appearing.
I can get downloaded movies to appear.. and such -- but this is the main purpose of the video streams are for the HD recordings off the camera.
Perhaps you have a good program or idea on conversion for this plasma set.. or are familiar -- either way I'd love to hear and and all suggestions and ideas!
Thank you so much.
