I know that Bt corn and RR crops have some environmental benefits by reducing pesticide use and allowing more no-till production (which helps fight climate change by using less fuel and keeps more carbon in the soil).
What are some new examples of GM crops (maybe at the research stage?) that would be good for the world? Like by helping with food security, reducing pesticide use, or otherwise helping with environmental problems?
