bit of a daft question - nearly every fish is edible, if fresh and stored on ice or equivalent temp will keep 4 days maybe more depends on how fresh fish is -

In catering we usually refer to fish as flat or round, (eg plaice or cod) and white or oily (eg cod and salmon).
