What type of things can I do to increase my chances of getting into a good college to

Universities in general decide who to accept and not accept (usually). You should focus on trying to get into a good one with a wildlife biology program rather than aiming to get into a wildlife biology program itself. It could help to have some background in biology before getting in, but that is not necessary.

Some good things to consider are extracurricular activities (universities will not look highly on a person with good grades but no ECs) and volunteer work. If you think it will be a problem to get those on your record because of your mom, that will harm your chances of getting into a good college.

Another option would be to start off in a community college for a year and use that time to take care of some ECs and volunteer work on your own (there should be numerous opportunities in community colleges) and then apply to some good colleges to finish your education in a wildlife biology program.

If you are looking for good wildlife biology programs, do a search on phd.org for wildlife biology programs. Program rankings are often considered more important than overall university rankings.

Good luck. I thought it was difficult living up to my parents' expectations to get into college. It sounds even more difficult to fight your mother's wishes to avoid college.
 
I have no idea how colleges evaluate home-schooled applicants. You will have to really well on your entrance exams and have excellent references. Perhaps your mother would let you get a part-time job or join a club to make up for the lack of extracurricular activities.

btw i'm homeschooled and i'm pretty sure my mom won't let me do any volunteering work she's not very keen on college
