What type of jobs in financial services can I get with an engineering degree?

I'm currently in my 3rd year of electrical engineering and have an urge to enter financial services.

I hear the financial industry love engineers because of their structured thinking and practical problem solving, but what jobs exactly are engineers getting? Will I have to supplement my engineering degree with other courses or an MBA?
 
the competition is fierce right now as many firms are not in a position to hire

1) venture capital
2) investment banking trainee program

work 12-18 months, then consider applying for an MBA
