What type of 'ingrediants' do witches/phsychics/palm readers etc use for...

...spells, or remidies etc? Okay so I was watching an episode of supernatural yesterday (episode 9, seasons 1) and the palm reader had ingrediants like lavender, and gem stones, and dirt from a cross road etc to help ward off evil spirits.
I was wondering whether there were any websites that would have thiis type of information? and other types of things like that?
I am just interested in it for no particular reasons.
 
Well, I wouldn't consider "Supernatural" to be a reliable source of credible information regarding Witchcraft, psychics, etc. It would be like saying the episode of "The Mentalist" accuratly portrayed Wiccans, and this is FAR from true.

As for what they use in their practices, it depends on the individual, tradition, spell, etc. Witches mostly use natural materials...various herbs, natural cloths like cotton, hemp, etc, beeswax/soy candles. There are numerous websites out there that tell what these groups use, and what the items are for. Remember that Google is your friend.
