What type of fish should i get?

should i get the blood parrot cichlid?
or some goldfish?
(like the goldfish with the big eyes and such.)

oh and are parrot cichlid's aggressive?
because i went to the pet store and saw them "kissing" which usually means they are trying to fight.
 
i would recommend a betta, simple, don't need a huge tank(unless your planing to have more fish then don't get 2 betta males or females or both in the same tank, they will fight) one is a good number to start out with they last longer than gold fish do, just clean the tank every 2 days and feed them twice a day(night and morning mush easier to remember) that's it i guess
 
If you have a tropical tank then i would get a Betta, but be careful as they are aggressive.
