What type of fish can live peacefully with a red-eared slider?

I have a 10 gallon tank. I'm going to get a larger one soon. I was wondering what type of fish would be able to live peacefully wtih it? My turtle is almost a year old and is still relatively small. About 2 1/2 to 3 inches.
 
within a 10 gallon tank no fish to my knowledge will be able to escape from your slider turtle. Your slider will love to eat fish and the bigger your turtle gets the better he will be at catching them.

If you had a huge 100 gallon tank then you could *possibly* keep small fast quick fishes in there (Neon Tetras maybe?). A large turtle will have a difficult time catching those quick little ones in such a large enclosure.
