you could go with any type of anabantid like the betta, paradise fish, gourami. you could also get any kind of livebearer. you could even put cichlids in there. since you live in florida i would go with tropical fish instead of cold water even though they would be ok. tropical ponds are not as common but are more interesting in my opinion. pretty any tropical fish would work. a lot of fish will breed in ponds even when they wont breed in your aquarium.
