You see, we are thinking about purchasing a dog but we preferably want it to be more outdoors than indoors. We dont mean this in a harsh way either, we have a large garden. Any one know of any suitable breeds for our liking ? :)
Thanksss

None dog are pack animals and need to be part of the family not stuck in a back garden most of the time. It doesn't matter how big your garden is it is cruel to stick them outside on there own they should be inside with the family what is the point of a dog is it does your share family life.

I will never understand people who claim to want dogs...but then leave them to rot in a kennel in the garden.
Get a cat, at least it will have some sort of life living outside.

Something like a border collie, if you got a dog with short hair it would be too cold outside.

I agree that it would be better to have your dog inside if you can, they do prefer the company. When we got our dog, I didn't think I'd want him inside all the time, because of dog hair, smell etc, but its easy to keep the house clean, we cant smell anything & I'm past caring if anyone else can!

A stuffed one from your local Walmart.

Dogs are social pack animals - not lawn ornaments.
