I have a 1991 Toyota MR2 with side skirts that will interfere with four-arm lifts. I took my car to Merchants a year ago or so to get my tires done. When they went to do the alignment on the lift they cracked the side skirt.
I took it to Toyota months later for a clutch job, and sure enough there were no complaints or issues with the kit getting in the way.
I was wondering what type of lifts does a shop down the road like merchants use as opposed to the lifts at Toyota? I bought the car the way it was and I know it doesn't help, but in the future I would prefer to find out which shops have a more suitable lift for my car.
