What type of car is best?

Well currently my mom owns a 98' Chevrolet Trail Blazer LT and she doesn't want it. i tell her to sell it so i can get my car and a car also for herself. it is a super nice clean great condition, no scratches outside of the car at all and a non-smoker user, how much can i sell it for? i already chose my car and it costs 2000 but i need a car for my mom. she just wants a simple car that doesnt waste that much gas. what kind of car/ cars can she get? thanx for your opinions :D
