A capacitor is slow charging and rapid discharge. The use of a capacitor in street applications is almost useless. The only affect you will get is power smoothing. This may extend the life of your amp by a day or so thats about it. A capacitor should be used if you are competing and burping your system. THE MAN has made people believe these things actually do something when you constantly draw power from them and it simply isn't true. Save the money for gas and ride more you don't need one.
