What type of brown should I dye My hair?

I have dark black type of hair with dark purple red ends from my last hair dye.I am going to buy a dye today and I really want a brown one.Ive been googling shades of brown but I cant decide.I want the type of brown that would suit kind of tanned skin and brown eyes.Please please give me a name or picture. Example : Medium Brown Hair. Or chocolate brown..

Btw I want a brown that so doesnt look black.I mean I want my brown hair to be noticable.Brunette.Thanks. xxx :)
