...England only to answer please)? I have seen lately (as I'm sure most have) the advertisements for Halfords half price bicycles. I would very much like to invest some money into a bike but at 15 stone am worried my frame might be too big for the bike. I would like a bike which gets very few punctures.

Are there any large adults out there who have recently bought a bike (preferably in the Essex area) and find they are getting on REALLY well with it?

Bikes I have spotted on the website are

and

I'm looking to spend no more than £140...... Any large adults out there who cannot flaw their push bikes in any way? Please drop me a note. I do not mind if it is a mens bike or a ladies bike as long as it's comfortable and does its job.
OK, these are good answers people but where did you get your bikes from? Does it matter the radius of the tyre at all?

Invest some money into a years supply of Slim-Fast instead you racist..people in England only to answer please????.Well tough fatty I am Scottish.Open the big doors Halfords she is on her way....

Apollo are a fairly decent make, i wouldn't worry to much, i was a 15 stone male (16 at largest) and i used to travel to school every day on a bmx, it looked tiny.
Just find one you find has a comfier seat etc.

Punctures are something you cant avoid, my friend bought a bike for £1000 and has had 2 punctures this month, he weighs about 11 stone. i brought one for £100 and haven't had a puncture in ages i weigh 12 and a half stone.

house clearance sales normally have bikes going for as little as 15 pounds and they are good bikes a lot of them. they normally also inclrporate police auctions (unclaimed stuff thats been stolen)
look online for ones in your area. they are great!!! save you loads.
any bike is good for weight loss as long as it is comfy for you.
