What type of bike should a person get whose overweight?

My cousin in 240lbs and wants to start riding a bike to lose weight. Can anyone give any suggestions on what bike will be good? Serious answers only!
If u are a person like the first one that answered this question please don't bother. I have no time for the crap answers....
