Our church owns a child care and learning facility and we would like to update the facility. We also have many low income families in the area of which a number of their children attend our facility and have a hard time paying their fees and we would also like to be able to offer them help at times, however since we are a non-profit organization there is not enough money to allow for this. We were told grants may be an option. What type of a grant should we look for? We have been given 2 sites to look at for grants; neither of them were available to our type of facility. Any other ideas? Where do we go to research? We have been told another child care facility in our area received a grant recently is there some way we can find out what type of grant they received? We would greatly appreciate it if you could help us further along with our research.
