What tropical fish do you recommend for my tank?

I have a 5.5g with heater, only one female betta lives happily in it. I also just bought a 10g tank with heater, filter, light, etc...I want some easy tropical fish for it...what would you recommend? Something pretty, or exotic. Not over 4.5" I would like to put my female betta in there as well. Should I buy 3-4 female bettas? I want all the fish to also eat the same food. I dont want to feed them different foods for each fish...Thanks.
 
maybe you could get amale betta and breed them. im not really with the whole "breeding" think, but a lot of people are, so if you want to, then you only have to buy one more fish, then in a couple of weeks you will have plenty.
 
no lol thats so wrong neon tetra move alot and need a 20 gallon long+ and plus they nip fins my advice is this
3 female bettas with
2 male guppies
or
1x yellow lab ciclid yes a ciclid can live in a ten gallon but needs to be alone with extra filters and airators
