what to write back...to keep the conversation going?

i'm talking to my friend. he wrote to me and said if i passed school and i said yea (cuz i did) and i asked how about you? and he wrote i just passed with a 66. i was going to write back to him saying: but you passed which is good.

what to write to keep the convo going? me and my friend are writing on myspace.
