what to write a book about?

my cousin wants to write a teen book but she doesnt know what type, if you have any good ideas it would be amazing if you coud help her out! thanks.
My cousin is 14 and wants to write a teen book. she has like no ideas nd it would be amazing if you could help! she wants to do something with romance, thanks!
 
If you cousin is a teen she could write a book about her life. If she's in her 20's or older she could write a book about problems she had when she was a teen and how teens can avoid those problems. She could also write a book about dating, or a guide about picking a career something to do with their lives. Dating, sex and careers are things teens tend to be interested in.
 
Teen books are usually about love or romance. You should write something that would capture a teen's interest and it isn't one of those girly books.Write a fantasy book with higher vocabulary and research good fantasy or romance novels. I think that you should read some first so you have an idea on what to do.
