What to put in place of the removed passenger footboards

I ride solo and have a solo seat and can no longer carry a passenger. What are the option for replacing the passenger footboards with some kind of decorative chrome etc? I don't see anything in the H-D accessory catalog.

BTW, the dealers have new 2011 accessory catalogs available.

I just put those black plastic plugs in all the mounting holes, don't have the part number but know they didn't cost much.

Hi Bikes,,,,I put some stainless allen button head bolts in the holes.But something else interesting would be good too.Did you get your limited wheels?

Ya. Hole plugs. Send me a PM and I'll send you a few. I have them in chrome and I think I have some black ones that will fit.

Didn't install anything in those holes. You can't even see where they were. Not a big deal for me anyways.

Looks like ya still have the passenger foot pads in the picture though.

I went to the local hardware store, they carry small little chrome caps with small slots cut into a spring type thing, it'll keep the grit and junk off of and out of the threads in the holes, plus looks pretty good. Look close at my picture, you can see the little chrome buttons right below the side cover, i think there's 3 of them.

The guy that I'm buying them from happens to live just South of my niece and nephew and they are bringing them to me. The wheels will be here Friday Spetember 10th.

I don't need tire right now but I will be putting a new set on the limited wheels. The OEM tires are getting way more mile than I thought they would. It's about time Dunlop improve the mileage. The tires actually have a pretty decent ride at the same time.
