I was thinking about history textbooks, so history would definitely be something to study, obviously, but what else? I was thinking about History and Linguistics (since linguistics fascinates me), but the various sites I've done some light research on said that to study something in the given subject matter (editing history books, study history; editing science textbooks, study a science) and also English, but others have said Education or something specific to editing. All this different information has me confused!
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! But no snide comments about the liberal arts, please! I don't really care if you think it's a useless degree. Also, would a bachelor's degree be sufficient? Or further my education with graduate studies? I'd assume editing textbooks would require a mastery of the material.
Thanks in advance!
