Just left school. Got year 10 school certificate.
No more school.
What to do? There is no way i can go back to my school. I simply despise it. I'm looking to get a job now. Whats best for a 16 year old guy fresh outta school? By far i'm looking for an apprenticeship to start things off. I'm looking at an Apprentice Electrician. How did you guys start off work? Simply started at maccas, got an apprenticeship or jumped into TAFE/ Uni? The main prob that i have is transport. I've 5 or so months before i can get a provisional P1 license. Until then i think travel will restrict my choices.
 
I was thinking of getting an apprenticeship in mechanics or something after yr10 last year as well ... but i ended up staying on for yr11+12 ... sigh.

Cant really offer you any help, except that travel shouldnt really be a problem if you have decent access to public transport ... there's people around 16 that catch my bus to get to the station and go to their apprenticeships :) So i think transport would be easier with your own car (once you get a licence) but until then pub it up?

Do you know anything about wireing a house? That is your first step. If you go out there and have no idea what you are doing you're fucked. My advice learn as much as you can about it then go to construction sites (small residental ones) and ask the electricians if they are needing anyone to work and explain the situation.
