What to do with this Verizon iPhone ?

Ok I have a Verizon iPhone it was a friends but he has moved on to tmobile didn't pay his bill so Verizon let him go anyway I'm using it as an iPod because i don't know what to do with it if it was AT&T I'll be using it but Verizon so any ideas I mean I'll hate to trash it it's like new

Well if he didnt pay his bill Verizon wont let anybody activate it. Enjoy you new ipod touch!
