I know you send a query letter to agent then proposal, and then if signed you get a contract with the agent. My question when do agents expect you to have the book ready after they have signed you?
Do they expect you to have it finished when they find a publishing company?
Do they want you to start it right away?
Do they want you to start once they got a publishing company?
And do they want you to drop all things like college to complete this book? If so, could you go part time to college as well?
now i am not planning to drop out of college, but i want to know what agents and publishers expect? book finished beofre i find an agent? start book when get an agent? start book when i get a publisher?
