...whining/crying/begging/pleading? Recently I have caught my 4yo giving up toys, snacks and fun stuff to his younger brother when he whines and cries. DH and I do not give into such behavior, but I have seen my son do it on several occasions now, and of course, little brother's whining and crying for his older brother's stuff is on the rise because of it. I've asked him not to give in to his brother, and instead to ignore him, but he said, "But Mommy, I just don't want to hear him cry. It bothers me and it's not worth it." Wth? Anybody else ever experienced this? When I was a kid, I wouldn't have given anything to my younger brothers for the life of me, so I find this behavior totally foreign and not sure what to do about it.
