I recently began an exercise class. About half way through, we had a weight in one hand and dipped down, touching the opposite leg, then would stand back up, etc. I began getting extremely lightheaded. I tried to push through, but had to stop and squat until I felt better.
I know this is likely due to low blood pressure. I'm thinking I've heard that one should take Iron to help with low blood pressure - is this correct?
FYI, I did eat supper about an hour before the class and I drink about 60 oz. of water throughout the day before the class.
Thanks!
